965/965GM 8 Driver

Different drivers = different result, that's what happened if you try to install graphic 965/965GM and failed. 8 driver base on my experience is compatible with 7 driver, and 7 did support 965/965GM Graphic chip. So I list several methods to install 965/965GM 8 Driver.

1. Automatic updates.

This method is not preferable for most users, since they only provide update for certain product. But this just work on aspire one AOD250 which using 965 express chipset family chip.

2. Using Automatic Driver update Utility:

Go to this page http://downloadcenter..com/ and click on the CONTINUE button under the automatic update utility. It will prompt you to install something and install it, wait until detection finish and install the recommended driver. (You must have java installed).

3. Use original 7 Driver

You can install using your original 7 driver (choose 32 or 64 bit base on your OS). Right click and install as admin. If it doesn't work:

-Install using compatibility mode-

Right click on the setup, or installation file, select properties - compatibility - and set to 7. Right click again and select run as admin to install.

-Manual Installation-

a) Extract the driver files.

b) Open device manager, right click on standard VGA and select UPDATE DRIVER.

d) Select browse and point to the driver folder we extracted rlier.
